Fresh, joyful and effortlessly refined — Le 25bis was one of those places that felt right from the moment we arrived.
The warmest welcome set the tone, but it was our room that truly caught our eye. Bathed in natural light, serene and beautifully balanced, it felt both elegant and wonderfully easy to be in.
And then, those golden-yellow armchairs. A little burst of colour in an otherwise soft and peaceful palette, somehow echoing the golden bubbles that make this part of France so irresistible.
Outside, the intimate terrace offered another kind of charm. Surrounded by greenery and softly lit as evening fell, it was exactly the kind of place that makes you want to linger — preferably with a beautiful glass of champagne in hand.

From the moment you step inside, this place is a wonderful surprise. Every room has its own distinct personality, yet somehow everything comes together as one beautifully theatrical whole.
Designed by Belgian interior architect Pieter Porters, the hotel embraces colour, pattern and decoration without restraint. Chandeliers sparkle above richly layered interiors, flowers and greenery appear everywhere, and unexpected objects and little treasures constantly catch your eye. There is always something else to discover.
The warm, colourful bar immediately draws you in, while the intimate garden terrace offers a softer escape from the abundance inside. And then there are the rooms themselves — sumptuous, dramatic and full of character. One bathroom in particular remains among the most beautiful I have encountered.
It is opulent without becoming impersonal, theatrical without feeling staged. There is so much to see that your eyes hardly know where to land — and perhaps that is exactly the charm. Instead of stripping things back, this is a place that dares to add another colour, another chandelier, another flower, another beautiful detail.
